Consent to personal data processing
Version of October 7, 2026
In short. This is a separate consent, not part of the Terms. You give it with a checkbox when you sign up or the first time you open your account. You can withdraw it by email or by deleting your account.
1. Who I give consent to
By ticking “I consent to the processing of my personal data” on casualwhisper.com, I freely, of my own will and in my own interest give consent to the operator: Dmitry Vladimirovich Ignatov, self-employed, taxpayer ID 720705126678 (brand Sinsual), contact email support@casualwhisper.com.
2. What for
- To create and run my account and sign me in to the website and the Casual Whisper app.
- To provide the service: turn my speech into text, process the text in the chosen mode, answer in the assistant chat.
- To take payments, make refunds, keep records.
- To answer my support requests.
- To protect the service and my account from break-ins and abuse.
- To send emails about the service: sign-in codes, payment details, important changes. Promotional emails only if I tick the separate news box.
- To find and fix app errors: at which step and in which version a failure happened.
3. Which data
- email; name, if I sign in with Google, Yandex or Telegram; country and language;
- IP address, country by IP, browser and system, app version, install ID, sign-in times;
- payment amounts, dates and statuses, balance, subscriptions, promo codes, referrals (the operator does not receive bank card details);
- settings: dictionary, modes, shortcuts, languages;
- my support requests and the assistant chat I send along with them;
- usage: how many words and actions were used, duration and cost;
- app diagnostics, unless turned off in the app: which screens and Settings sections are open, which features are clicked, app errors and crashes, dictation delays by stage, shortcut failures, updates, the program (.exe file) I dictated into, Windows version, keyboard layout, number of monitors; no audio, text, clipboard contents, window titles or page addresses;
- audio and text of my dictations, voice notes, files sent for transcription and assistant requests, plus what is needed to process them: the window title and the last copied text (up to 1,000 characters, unless turned off in the app), and for the assistant the selected text, a screenshot or part of it, an attached image and matching History entries, only while they are processed, not stored by the operator.
4. What may be done with it
Automated processing: collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), anonymisation, blocking, deletion, destruction.
5. Who receives it and where
I agree to the transfer of data, including abroad, to those needed to run the service:
| Who | What they get | Where |
|---|---|---|
| The operator’s server | Data from section 3, except dictation audio and text after processing | Netherlands |
| AI providers via the OpenRouter aggregator: speech recognition (Microsoft, backup model Deepgram), text processing, notes and the assistant, web search | Audio and text of dictations, notes and files, dictionary, app name and window title, copied text, mode instruction; for the assistant the request, selected text, screenshot and search query; no email or name | USA, China and other countries |
| The RouterAI aggregator (Inter LLC), when speech recognition at OpenRouter is overloaded | Audio of a dictation, note or file | Russia, then Microsoft’s servers |
| Cloudflare | IP address and requests to the website and API | Many countries |
| Selectel email service | My address and the email text | Set by them |
| Payment service | Amount, order number and, if a receipt needs it, email | Set by them |
| Google, Yandex, Telegram | The fact of signing in, if I use them | Set by them |
Details are in the Privacy Policy.
6. How long and how to withdraw
The consent is valid while my account exists. I can withdraw it by writing to support@casualwhisper.com from my account email or by deleting my account (Profile). After withdrawal the operator stops processing and deletes the data within 30 days. Payment records may be kept longer where the law or a dispute requires it. The service cannot work without this consent.
App diagnostics can be turned off separately without withdrawing consent: Settings → Data → “Send diagnostics”. The app then stops sending it and deletes the queue stored on the computer. The operator keeps diagnostics for 60 days and deletes them together with the account.
